The Charrington at Dovecliff Hall was born from a simple idea: to create a dining experience that celebrates Staffordshire’s finest ingredients in a setting rich with heritage.
Overlooking the River Dove, our restaurant takes its name from the Charrington Family, Victorian owners of the estate and the magnificent 400-year-old cedar tree standing proudly on the grounds a symbol of timeless beauty, strength, and tradition. Just as the cedar has rooted itself in the landscape for centuries, The Charrington seeks to root itself in the hearts of our guests, becoming a place where food, nature, and history come together.
